Habitat for Humanity is holding its 10th Anniversary of “Taste of Collin County”Monday, September 13, 2010. This year the theme is “Masquerade Madness”, where guests may sample food from Collin County restaurants. It will be held at the Collin County Regional Airport from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. In addition to great food, there is entertainment and live auctions. It is an exciting annual event that raises tens of thousands of dollars to benefit Habitat for Humanity’s mission to build decent affordable housing for God’s people in need.
We are holding this fundraising event to build twelve more homes in our area this year. We recently dedicated our 60th home with three more under construction. We must rely on the kindness and generosity of companies and leaders in the community like you to help us raise the necessary funds. In-kind contributions of materials or labor are also a valuable benefit to our homes.
